Here you will find a list of hotfixes that address various issues in Section 8: Prejudice.

August 19th

Balance Updates: (360/PC/PS3)
* Pulse Cannon, Pulse Round
** -10% Damage on Minimum Charge
** -3% Damage on Maximum Charge
** -17% Area Radius on Maximum Charge (PC Only)
* Pulse Cannon, Burst Mod
** -10% Damage on Minimum Charge
** -8% Damage on Maximum Charge
* Pulse Cannon, EMP Round

August 15th

PC Title Update

STABILITY
* Fixed a rare crash that could occur when map transitioning to a DLC map

CONTROLS
* Changed the equipment selection to play the equip sound effect when re-selecting the same equipment
* Fixed an issue where the player would have to press the sprint key a second time after running into an object to start sprinting again
* Fixed an issue where aiming at certain directions or speeds on a gamepad could inconsistently result in slowing down aiming speed

USABILITY
* Fixed an issue where debug text could display for a brief second when progressing from the Logo Train to the Title Screen
* Narrowed subtitle width to fix subtitle display issues in non-English languages
* Added text to better describe why a link code is not present due to not being able to access Prejudice Online
* Updated naming convention of “R2 Fire –Lefty” to “L2 Fire”
* Added minor adjustments to the translation of “equipment,” “proximity pack” and “concussion pack” to fix text issues on specific resolutions and languages
* Fixed an issue where bodies would sometimes not properly fizzle out, but instead disappear

STATS
* Implemented an improvement to XP gaining on servers to allow XP bonuses based on the % of human players in a server
* Fixed an issue where unlocking an achievement could give achievement progress to the achievement that was prior sequentially

ONLINE
* Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would remain on the screen after closing the GFWL guide when a gamepad was connected in-game

June 21st

Balance Updates: (360/PC)
*Pulse Rifle refire time increased from 1.3s to 1.4s
*Pulse Rifle charge time increased from 2.1s to 2.5s
*Pulse Rifle Full Charge Area of Effect (AOE) reduced by 25%

June 14th

PC Title Update

This title update for the PC addresses various game issues and community concerns. Most notably, this title update allows users to change their FOV. This update also addresses a number of stability, usability and gameplay issues.

Full Title Update notes below:

STABILITY:
* Fixed a possible lockup in GFWL when receiving an achievement at map rotation that could result in Profile corruption
* Added the ability to detect a corrupted Profile and provide instructions on how to recover from LIVE
* Fixed an issue with SLI mode that would cause blinking objects in the distance
* Fixed a crash that could occur when quickly joining a server after starting the game

USABILITY:
* Added the ability to scale the FOV using FOVScale (see the README)
* Enabled Assault to Offline play without requiring connection to Prejudice Online
* Fixed an issue when spectating a player in a vehicle would sometimes cause the camera stick to the vehicle after the player leaves the vehicle
* Fixed an issue where speaker setups greater than 5.1 would not receive the low frequency channel (e.g. Logitech G35 Headset)
* Fixed an issue when accepting an invite while hosting a match an empty scoreboard would appear before transition
* Fixed a conforming issue where server hosting DLC matches were giving an error to clients attempting to join the server

GAMEPLAY:
* Fixed an issue where the jammer beacon could prevent disarming the Airstrike beacon
* Fixed an issue where a player joining a server could replace the bot playing a DCM before a bot not playing a DCM (e.g. the Infiltrator)
* Fixed an issue where Autobalance was not always balancing teams on map rotation

June 6th

Balance Updates: (360/PC)
* Airstrike timer increased from 150s to 180s
* Convoy prep time reduced from 45s to 35s
* Outpost health increased by 5%
* Recover Base timer increased from 100s- to 110s, and pickup bonus time total increased from 60s to 70s
* Tank armor increased by 10%

June 1st

Title Update

This title update for both the Xbox 360 and PC addresses various game issues and community concerns. Most notably, this title update fixes the hard-lock on Xbox 360, allows autobalance to be set to OFF on ranked servers, and addresses additional usability, stats, matchmaking and gameplay issues.

Xbox 360
STABILITY:
* Fixed foliage system problem that could result in a hard-lock requiring a console restart
* Fixed a crash that could occur when retrying to join a match after losing connection to Xbox LIVE
* Fixed a crash that could occur when accepting an invite while a disconnection error message was displayed
* Fixed a rare Lock-On crash that could occur during gameplay
* Fixed a rare issue where player’s controls could become unresponsive after performing a fatality

MATCHMAKING:
* Fixed an issue with not being able to see some servers in Custom Match
* Changed the Server Clan search to only list servers running the specified game mode
* Fixed an issue with Server Clan search not listing SOD servers
* Fixed an issue where Quick Match would sometimes join an empty SOD server when there were populated servers available
* Changed Quick Match to prefer joining an empty SOD server of the same region/language before a populated server of a different region/language
* Changed Custom Match to hide empty SOD servers when Hide Empty is selected

USABILITY
* Fixed an issue where the bot icon would be missing under System Link
* Fixed an issue where the hintbar could disappear after disconnecting from the server
* Fixed an issue where players would be unable to free spawn after cancelling a squad spawn
* Improved the ability for the tank to fire over a slope
* Added the ability for some Prejudice Online tweaks to be available when not connected to LIVE or Prejudice Online

AUTOBALANCE
* Changed Autobalance to more aggressively place you with Friends or Xbox LIVE Party members
* Changed Private servers to force Autobalance off
* Changed Ranked servers to allow Autobalance off (affects TGXServer)
* Changed Autobalance to allow a team size discrepancy of 2 (to facilitate getting Friends on the same team)

GAMEPLAY
* Changed Overtime to constantly increase both team VP at the same rate (10% of maximum VP per minute)
* Fixed an issue where the tank would fire an extra shot after exiting the driver seat
* Fixed the Ball Hog achievement (Assault) to count CPs captured because of implicit turn end due to all defenders being killed

STATS
* Changed Badges to only allow earning each 2 times per match
* Changed Repair and Auto Repair ScoreEvents to have a maximum per match (200)
* Changed Repair Feat to have a maximum per match (66)
* Changed Ranked Swarm to only require two human players
* Fixed an issue where players could host a Ranked Swarm match on Trivial Difficulty (Medium is the minimum requirement)

TGXSERVER
* Fixed an issue where the user configs would not work if there were trailing spaces on lines
* Fixed an issue where SOD servers were not able to host certain game modes after rotating
* Fixed some crashes related to hosting service server queries
* Fixed an issue where the hosting service server query would return the incorrect max players for SOD servers
* Fixed an issue starting SOD servers on virtual machines
* Fixed an issue where SOD servers would become unplayable after being idle for more than a day

PC
STABILITY:
* Fixed a crash that could occur when retrying to join a match after losing connection to LIVE

* Improved the ability for the tank to fire over a slope
* Added the ability for some Prejudice Online tweaks to be available when not connected to LIVE or Prejudice Online

AUTOBALANCE
* Changed Autobalance to more aggressively place you with Friends
* Changed Private servers to force Autobalance off
* Changed Ranked servers to allow Autobalance off
* Changed Autobalance to allow a team size discrepancy of 2 (to facilitate getting Friends on the same team)

* Changed the Friendly Fire to penalize napalm damage less than regular damage
* Changed Overtime to constantly increase both team VP at the same rate (10% of maximum VP per minute)
* Fixed an issue where the tank would fire an extra shot after exiting the driver seat
* Fixed the Ball Hog achievement (Assault) to count CPs captured because of implicit turn end due to all defenders being killed

* Changed Swarm to implicitly be Ranked for PC Listen servers (provided difficulty is at least Medium)
* Changed Badges to only allow earning each 2 times per match

May 20th
Pulse Cannon Tweaks: (360/PC)
* Reduced the full-charge damage of the Pulse Cannon (all variants) by 10%
* Reduced the total full-charge time of the Pulse Cannon (all variants) by a corresponding 10%

Swarm Achievements: (360/PC)
* Fixed a problem with clients who had entered a Swarm online match before the match started not receiving Stars or Achievements upon success

May 11th

Balance Updates: (360/PC)
* Reduced Airstrike Disarm timer from 20s to 18s
* Increased Convoy health from 16000 to 17000 (6%)
* Increased Outpost health from 45000 to 47000 (4%)
* Increased Recover base timer from 90s to 100s
* Decreased Recover pick up cast time from 6s to 5s
* Incendiary MG damage from 55 to 53 (3.5%)
* Increased EMP MG damage from 55 to 57 (3.5%)

Autobalance Updates: (360)
*Increased the chances of placing friends together and keeping friends together after autobalancing.

May 9th
Server Browser (PC):
* Increased the likelihood that players receive more consistent search results and find same-region servers

May 4th

Quick Match:
*Increased the likelihood that players will end up in populated servers

April 28th

Stats:
* Updated Ranked requirements for Swarm so now only 2 players are required for a ranked match instead of 4.
* Reduced the XP reward for the Intelligence Network Badge from 20 to 15
* Reduced the Combat Score for the Beacon Blocker Feat from 7 to 6

Matchmaking:
* Decreased the likelihood of autobalance separating friends onto different teams.
*Changed Custom Match to always display Server on Demand servers as an option if available.

April 27th

The following updates and improvements were made in the latest Title Update.

Stability Updates:
* Fixed a rare shader system crash that could occur randomly during gameplay
* Fixed a crash that could occur when signing out of LIVE when a message about downloading DLC was on-screen, then attempting to access the marketplace from the DLC message

General Updates:
* Fixed an issue where the game was not correctly upgrading from the Trial Version to the Full Game when logging in with a LIVE account that had previously purchased the game

Usability Updates:
* Improved visibility of the Loading screen Deploy button after map transition
* Fixed an issue where an inactive sign-in change would disconnect players from Prejudice Online
* Fixed an issue where custom match browser search options saved from a previous run of the game were not reflected in the UI on subsequent runs, even though the actual search options were saved correctly
* Added the ability to reconnect to Prejudice Online without resigning-in, by selecting the Stats button without a connection.

Dedicated Server Updates:
* Added improved Region and Language dedicated server options to help players join servers that are near their region and have players of the same language
* Fixed an issue where idle dedicated servers would get into a bad state after an extended period of time
* Added descriptive error message for when a dedicated server fails to launch due to requiring an update
* Fixed an issue where dedicated servers would sometimes not reconnect to the stats system properly
